| The bookends pictured below are from the 1999 MAGMA President's Workshop. I was really stuck for an idea, but after I got going with the most logical theme I could come up with...a place to read and a place to study...I think they turned out okay! |

They're not being used as bookends though...I just keep them in the dining room for all to see...especially me! |

The chair is from a Venus & Dodge pattern and the chair seat is woven using DMC embroidery floss. The desk I fashioned myself...the legs are staircase spindles....oh, and I made the lamp too! |

The chair was a Christmas gift from my next-door neighbour, the side table is from a kit...and I made the lamp and carpet...and I really like doing miniature dried flower arrangements. |
